Apple Refreshes iMacs Lineup – Sandy Bridge Processors, Thunderbolt & FaceTime HD

 

Apple has refreshed the iMacs lineups to include the much awaited Sandy Bridge processors (the next generations of processors from intel), Thunderbolt port in 21.5 inch & 27 inch iMacs, 3x faster performance of the ATI Raedon HD graphics cards, and FaceTime HD. The new iMacs comes in two variants – quad core i5 and i7 processors with an option to choose for the customers up to 3.4Ghz. 

Thunderbolt aka Light speak is the new technology from intel which was introduced by Apple in Macbook Pros that allows the transfer of data at a speed of 10 gigabytes per second. Facetime HD lets you video conference between iPhone/iPodTouch/Macbook from iMacs in High Definition (provided that both the devices have HD cameras). New Raedon HD graphic cards boosts the performance of your gaming experience up to 3x times more and quad core processors makes your iMacs faster than ever.
